Hellman Avenue Fire Station – Fire Station 177

Aufbau provided construction management support and construction inspection services to the City of Rancho Cucamonga for the construction of Fire Station 177. Fire Station 177 was constructed within a site previously owned by San Bernardino County. The site was occupied by a detention basin which needed to be filled so that the property could be brought to grade, to accommodate the fire station and Rancho Street fronting the station. Over 100,000 cubic yards of dirt was imported to the site towards this earthwork operation. Aufbau provided construction inspection services toward this mass grading operation. Aufbau also provided construction inspection for the construction of curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphaltic concrete paving within Hellman Avenue, as well the entire street improvements along the frontage of the fire station on Rancho Street.

Aufbau also conducted a Constructability Review of the structural plans and the site development plans of the fire station – significant enhancements and modifications to the construction drawings were made as a result.
