PROJECTS

The FY2023–24 Local Overlay Project restored roadway surfaces at various locations throughout the City, bringing them to a substantially improved condition that enhances pavement life, usability, and ride quality. The work included localized asphalt removal and replacement, crack sealing, asphalt overlay installation, utility cover adjustments, and updated pavement striping and signage.

In addition, the project addressed accessibility improvements by removing and reconstructing sidewalks and curb ramps at multiple intersections to ensure compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

Overall, the project resurfaced numerous local street segments across six neighborhoods, utilizing approximately 1,100 tons of asphalt.
